Ended up being a good day.

Yesterday ended up being a good day. We were off to a rough start but things did get better. The kids and I played outside for most of the afternoon. It was really a gorgeous day.

The Kids loved playing on the swings. It was a warm day, but not warm enough for bare feet. Ryan on the other hand couldn't wait to have socks and shoes off. The boy never feels cold.

Zachy loved the swing too. He almost fell asleep.

And then there is my STUD Muffin. Sometimes a working man is so sexy. Plus the carharts...what a nice ass butt.

How cute are the two of them. Daddy and his baby. A nice ending to a beautiful day.

****Remember to Pray for Stellan today. According to MckMamma's tweet this morning he is was in SVT all last night and this morning, but did get some sleep***

It feels like Monday...

I am sure the calender says Wednesday, but the way the morning has gone I swear it is Monday. It all started with Zachy getting up at 6:00am. I don't know about you, but we are not morning people. We roll out of bed at 7:00, shower, dress, try to eat and out the door to school at 8:00. So, 6:00am is a little too early for us. Then Zachy would not eat, which makes going to the bus stop a little less fun (he will whine and cry because he is hungry). Ryan decided he would go with Daddy to the bus stop, so I thought "Phew, dodged a potentially rough day". Well I spoke to soon. Jonny called from Griffin's school. It is picture day, we haven't handed in the payment and order form, Griffin isn't wearing anything picture worthy, and his hair is crazy, needing a cut. Oh well for the hair, but then I had to find the order form, find a shirt (clean) and run everything down to school, with fussy Zachy who hasn't eaten and Becca.

Really is it Monday?
We made it all in one piece with a little crying, but we are back. Zachy still hasn't eaten, and Cassie (my dog) is being a little attention hog. At least it is warmer today. The kids will have to play outside (even in the mud) just so I won't lose my mind today.

Checking Mckmamma's blog did not help. I am so sad about Stellan. I just can't believe nothing is working for that poor little guy. I will keep Praying as I have been all night. As I was being to feel helpless and discouraged about little Stellan I can upon this prayer. It was just wanted I need, so I have been repeating this endlessly.
Prayer for Trust in Jesus
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.
--- St. Ignatius of Loyola
Please take so time to Pray for Stellan, maybe just pray. Think of the Lord as a friend that will listen to all you have to say. Good, bad, thankful, ungrateful, God will listen. Enjoy this day, it is a Gift from God.

Please Pray for Dylan

My sister-in-law Jodi's friend (Becky) had her baby boy yesterday. Dylan was born 6 weeks early and weighs a mere 3lbs 7oz. He is doing great from what I hear, breathing on his own with no oxygen and eating on his own. He will be in the NICU for about 2 weeks if all stays well. That is what I am asking from you...Please pray he continues to do so well, as we all know in the preemie world things can go from great to horrible in a blink of an eye. Please pray that he continues to do well and will be home in his mommy's arms soon.

All I can think of as I pray for Dylan and Becky is the March of Dimes and how much the work they do makes such a difference in premature birth. If it wasn't for the March of Dimes a lot of preemie babies would never have made it home. Thank you to all the people that donate to the March of Dimes and to all the people doing the great research for the March of dimes.

Unbelieveable

I just have to share this. Some people will think I am nuts (well more nuts than we thought). As part of educating myself about religion and prayer, I pick up this Prayer book for everyday women. I have never really prayed before recently, and didn't know how. I have prayed for children to be taken care of and health of others, but I didn't know if I was doing it right. That sounds silly I know, but I picked up this book on sale really cheap. Another sign for God - oh that is another story for later. Anyway last night after my family went to bed I was flipping though this prayer book. I came a cross a prayer for self discipline...holy crap, I could use some (so my new religious out look is not changing my gutter mouth, some things even God can't change). Even a little motivation. Well there was one for that. So I read this out loud just to hear them, and after award think, I could use some motivation and self discipline when it comes to cleaning my house. Silly right, why would God or some higher power care if my house was clean.
Now, I am not a clean freak, no where near. I can let the dishes pile up, the rug be covered in dog hair, live out of laundry baskets, and get rings around the tub. My husband and mother -in-law are usually the ones to do most of the house work. I rather play with my kids. So, anyway, I woke up this morning and as usual checked my email and blog, fed the boys, packed Ryan's lunch and sat down to play with Zachy and Griffin. For some strange reason I got up and decided to do the dishwasher, without thinking about it. Then put Zachy down for a nap and did a little laundry. Zachy wakes up, I change his diaper and put him down to play. Then head to the hall closet without even thinking about it and pull the vacuum out. After I vacuumed the living room, hallway, stairs and half the kitchen, it hits me. I didn't have to struggle to do this...I wasn't even thinking about it. Normally I have to psych myself up to get cleaning, it may take hours or days, that's how much I really hate housework. But today without even thinking about it I was cleaning, at the same time Zachy was scooting all around me and the vacuum, happily playing not crying because my attention wasn't on him. Griffin was happy watching a show without me in the room (which never happens). I cleaned the stove and oven and counters. Now let me say that I understand God doesn't have time or energy to waste on getting me to do house work, but it would take some almighty power to get me off my ass and clean. Maybe my little housework prayer worked or I am getting my period. Whatever it was I am not chancing that it wasn't the prayer. I will keep praying, if nothing more than to make myself feel better.

Please pray for Cora

This sweet beautiful girl is fighting stage four cancer. Please pray for her and her family. Even if you don't believe in God, keep this little girl in your thoughts. She needs a miracle... Please pray for Cora. Please, please, Please!
